The Effect of Brushing on Coffee Stainability of Ceramic Crowns Constructed from Repeatedly Processed Lithium Disilicate Ceramic Ingots: An In Vitro Study

Heat-pressed lithium disilicate (LDS)-based glass–ceramic ingots are widely used for the fabrication of dental restorations. Repressing or repeat processing remaining parts these has been reported to not adversely affect their mechanical properties. However, there is enough information on stainability crowns constructed from repeated heat-processed LDS ceramic ingots. Seventy-two identical were three different representing groups (n = 24): E-max (Ivoclare), Lisi (GC), and Celtra (Dentsply Sirona). Each group was subdivided into two subgroups 12) experimental (coffee) control groups. Color changes assessed according CIE L * a b system measured initially, after coffee staining brushing.
